New Planner Designs Coming Soon!

Challenges with the executive function skills of planning and prioritizing – otherwise known as future thinking – cause so much pain. This is one of the primary motivators for people to enroll in our Seeing My Time® program.

Struggles with these skills impact students and adults of all ages. The good news is, if done properly, these skills are totally teachable. We at EFS have been doing this successfully for years and years!

We teach people that since the brain’s wiring is the basis of our executive functioning, a weakness in a given area such as future thinking requires external support in order to support the brain and change behavior.

Knowing this, we were delighted to read the survey results from ADDitude Magazine reported that 61% of their ADHD respondents rely on paper planners, not digital planner systems. What a lovely surprise to see good old-fashioned paper calendars surpass a tech solution! And it felt great to be in their top 15 planners for 2023.

Of course, I am biased. For so many years, I couldn’t live without my paper planner. I had DIY’d a system that resembled what our planner is today. After setting up countless others with that system, clients “nudged” me into designing and manufacturing it. This prototype eventually became the series of planners for students and adults that we offer today!

New Planner Designs in the Works*

When one ADHD user of our Adult planner system, a friend of my daughter, heard that I was considering retirement, she had a panic response. “No! Tell her that she can’t stop making the planner. That planner and my meds keep my life working!”

From the feedback we receive, others don’t want to live without their Seeing My Time™ and Set Up Success™ planners either.

Breathe easy, folks, we have plans to keep our planners going beyond my retirement. In fact, we have decided to add additional planners customized to the specific needs of various populations. Here are some of our ideas:*

For babies: Seeing My Nap Time
For cat lovers: Seeing My Feline Time
For picklers: Seeing My Brine Time
For database engineers: Seeing My Response Time
For teens: Seeing My TikTok Time
For accountants: Seeing My Dime Time
For non-profits and academic researchers: Seeing My Grant Time

We are having a lot of fun designing these new planners. If you have a great idea for one, let us know. We will add it to our paper calendar to get it into the planning queue.
