Do you have students struggling because of deficits in executive functions? Do you only vaguely understand what that means?  Are you looking for tools to help your students manage papers, and turn work in on time?

As a former classroom teacher, Marydee has a piece of her heart in schools, alongside frustrated teachers and their struggling students. For the past year she and her colleague Paige Morabito have been hard at work creating a very special class. Marydee wants to share what she has learned about the brain as it relates to learning and building executive functions.  It will launch on June 20th this summer. Fully recorded, you can take this class on your own and receive continuing education credits or graduate credits through Portland State University.

Check out the video Marydee created about the course. Please share the link with any teachers you know.

Little by little we at EFS want to change schools to be more supportive of students with executive function challenges. The course is open for registration. Help us reach teachers!

  1. I would love to receive or follow available webinars in the is area. I teach middle schoolers with varying exceptionalities. I would love to see a parent resource center started at our school. Most importantly I would like to follow methodologies and strategies to use with my students and share with my parents.

    1. Hi Susan, thanks for your comment and feedback. We always post resources like free webinars, presentations and other support on our Facebook page, so that might be a good place to follow us if you would like continued support. We would love to have you in the class as well!
